Although tj maxx and marshalls stores with runway departments get their items from legitimate sources, there have been many cases in which dishonest crooks bought genuine items and returned fakes. If there is a purple tag item in a store without a runway department, that means it was probably purchased at a runway store and returned at a non runway store Tj maxx doesn't have to have a runway department in order to accept a return from that department. I live in alexandria, va and the tj maxx in potomac yard has the runway collection I've never seen high end bags other than d&b They do carry alot of alice & olivia, rebecca taylor, marc jacobs, theory, tibi.some of the stuff is really cute, but still a little pricey for being a year or two old I have had experience with tj maxx being shady about markdowns I went one day and lucked out and got a bunch of runway items marked down on yellow tag clearance for $39 I went 1 week later and they had taken the yellow stickers off and replaced with red markdown stickers for much more expensive This isn't the first time this has happened. I was at my local tj maxx yesterday browsing the runway section and i spotted a gucci blooms supreme mini chain bag for $699 There have even been sightings of ysl tributes, gucci and balenciaga shoes at marshalls They have runway items like i have seen gucci, fendi, valentino purses I believe tj maxx merchandise is authentic but there is still the concern of people buying the item, switching for a fake, and returning it. The tj maxx here in boston/newton carries fendi bags It just opened, and they have a huge runway section with cavalli, prada, pucci, ect.it's fabulous. I've seen lots of posts in this forum from folks who've scored bags at runway tj maxx stores However, has anyone ordered a bag from the runway section of tj maxx online
